Antifungal and phytoalexin-inducing effect induced by Lentinula edodes extract
Keywords:
alternative control, shiitake, Solanum lycorpersicumAbstract
Lentinula edodes has in its composition a substance with antimicrobial action and plant resistance induction. Thus, the objective of the research was to evaluate the effect of Lentinula edodes extract on the mycelial growth of Alternaria sp., tomato black spot control and on the induction of phytoalexins in beans, soybeans and sorghum. The treatments used were: extract of L. edodes at doses of 9; 18 and 36 g L-1, bordeaux mixture (BM) and acibenzolar-S-methyl (ASM). The extract of L. edodes reduced the mycelial growth of Alternaria sp., promoted the control of black spot in tomato and did not induce the production of phytoalexins in beans, soybeans and sorghum.
